Elaine's family grew up in Los Altos, California. Los Altos grew up with them; from a small country town to a thriving center for many ventures. Elaine and her husband Bill took pictures during the 1987 Art & Wine Festival and most of the figures are from these photos. A set of six of these etchings were donated to the City of Los Altos. Another set was donated to History House of Los Altos and is held in their museum.
